It has come to my attention that I cannot cut or sew in a straight line…

My mom picked out this material for me to make her kitties some beds…this was my first attempt. Was going for a sofa-like look. I think I achieved that…but somehow managed to sew diagonally pretty much everywhere I wanted it to be straight.

I’m comforted by the fact that Mia seems to like my simple square kitty bed…I pulled in the middle so she sinks into it.

Mia HATES having her photo taken. I, however, LOVE taking her photo. Guess who usually wins?

So…I was attempting something “easy” to help me learn how to properly use my sewing machine.

Instead…I ended up with this. That is Duffy in the background…silently mocking me.

You may look at this and think it isn’t so bad. Let me assure you…it is.
